Galkangu | Bendigo Gov Hub
Galkangu is a new building in the Bendigo CBD to house different government agencies in a central location. DJANDAK partnered with Development Victoria and other project partners to embed Djaara values of respect, recognition and reconciliation into the design. DJANDAK enabled many Djaara artists to embed their artistic expression and unique Djaara style, in the infrastructure, the artwork, and the landscape of this iconic new facility.
Bendigo Law Courts
The Bendigo Law Courts have been designed to embed Djaara Lore and elements of healing and cleansing which was a significant opportunity for Djaara to create safety and support for their own community and the broader Bendigo regional community.
Goldfields Track
DJANDAK is currently developing significant new facilities to improve the visitor experience along the 210km Goldfields Track including signage. We are working in collaboration with members from Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation and DJAARA, as well as other tourism & local government representatives. Together we are making the Goldfields Track an even more inviting and enriching destination for all to enjoy on Country.
